Ethereum (ETH) saw a larger drop of 1.68%, settling at $2,897, while Solana (SOL) fell below $120. The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies decreased by 0.6% to $3.021 trillion. This market movement coincides with the largest Bitcoin options expiry in history, involving approximately 300,000 BTC options contracts with a nominal value of $23.7 billion. The combined expiry of BTC and ETH options reaches $28.5 billion, marking a significant increase from the same period last year. Notable gainers in the market include BIFI, which surged 78%, ZBT with a 55.2% increase, and 0G up by 29.3%. Conversely, METIS, BANANA, and DOLO were among the top losers, dropping 12.8%, 12.05%, and 10.08% respectively.
