A recent survey conducted by South Korean crypto influencer Joshua (MOZAIK) reveals a significant shift among crypto key opinion leaders (KOLs) towards U.S. equities, particularly in AI, metals, and energy sectors. The survey, which gathered responses from 55 out of 120 KOLs, indicates that 50 are actively trading U.S. stocks, with a notable interest in AI infrastructure and energy transition. The survey highlights a growing trend of crypto-native traders reallocating capital from cryptocurrencies to traditional stock markets. Popular stocks among respondents include Intel, Alphabet, Rocket Lab, AST SpaceMobile, and Amazon. The "storage shortage" thesis, driven by the AI supercycle, emerges as a key investment theme, alongside a strategic focus on metals and energy sectors. Interactive Brokers is the preferred trading platform among respondents, followed by Robinhood. While the survey results are not from a scientific sample, they reflect a preliminary observation of a shift in investment focus among crypto influencers, emphasizing AI, energy, and strategic resources as areas of interest.
