Crypto analyst CrypFlow has identified signals suggesting a potential return of altcoin season, as capital appears to be shifting from Bitcoin to lower-capped tokens. The analyst highlighted the breakout of the 'Others' chart against Bitcoin from a falling wedge, coupled with a potential shift in the Squeeze Momentum indicator to green. These conditions have historically preceded major altcoin expansions, as seen in 2017 and 2021. Despite Bitcoin's current dominance at 58%, CrypFlow and other analysts, including Javon Marks, see early signs of an altcoin season. Marks noted macro trends in altcoin setups that align with previous altcoin seasons. Meanwhile, Blockchain Center data indicates that the altcoin season index is at 49, below the 75 threshold needed to confirm an altcoin season. Analyst CW also pointed to Ethereum's long-term convergence as a sign of a strong upcoming altcoin season, potentially surpassing the 2017 cycle.
