Amar Kuchinad has stepped down as CEO of crypto custody company Copper after leading the firm since October 2024.
Copper is seeking a sale through Cantor Fitzgerald after initially asking about $500 million. Bids had fallen to around $200 million by the end of August, down sharply from the company’s peak valuation of more than $2 billion. The sale process has been underway for four months.
