Crypto custody firm Copper is attracting potential buyers, but the two to three bids currently on the table are only about $200 million, far below the roughly $500 million asking price Cantor Fitzgerald sought in May.
Copper was valued at $2.5 billion during the 2021 bull market. The company now focuses mainly on its institutional settlement system ClearLoop, which exceeds $50 billion in monthly notional trading volume.
