Connecticut has sued prediction market platform Kalshi in a bid to stop it from offering sports event contracts in the state. The legal action marks a new state-level challenge to Kalshi’s event-based trading business.
Kalshi head of litigation Jovy Dedaj said the move was "arbitrary and inconsistently enforced," arguing that other prediction markets continue to operate in Connecticut.
