Compound has initiated a proposal to provide between 1,900 and 3,000 ETH (approximately $4.37 million to $6.9 million) to support DeFi United's rsETH recovery plan, contingent on certain conditions being met. The exact amount of ETH to be contributed will be determined by an execution team based on the final recovery plan, participant circumstances, and market conditions. Approximately 1,857 ETH may be recovered from the attacker's position, which would not constitute an actual contribution if not recovered. The funds will only be executed if rsETH is expected to fully restore collateral, the recovery plan is clear, and sufficient information is disclosed.
