Coinbase has announced an expanded partnership with the U.S. Cryptocurrency Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Crypto ISAC) to bolster security within the financial ecosystem. This collaboration will focus on sharing high-confidence threat intelligence to identify, prevent, and mitigate cyber threats. Coinbase emphasized that while it will cooperate with law enforcement when necessary, customer data will remain confidential, with only threat intelligence being shared. The partnership aims to enhance the security framework by leveraging insights from other Crypto ISAC members, which include prominent cryptocurrency firms such as Circle, ConsenSys, Phantom, and Fireblocks. This initiative underscores the growing importance of collaborative efforts in safeguarding the crypto industry against evolving threats.
