The company has pledged not to exceed a 30% validator penetration rate. Coinbase's validators are distributed across Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, and Singapore, achieving an average uptime of 99.98%, surpassing the network average of 99.77%.
The report highlights that Coinbase's validators have not encountered any slashing or double-signing incidents since their inception. The company employs two consensus layer clients, Lighthouse and Prysm, along with three execution layer clients, Geth, Nethermind, and Reth, to ensure robust network participation.
