A cryptocurrency wallet previously identified in 2025 reports as linked to scam activity targeting Coinbase users has moved significant funds through privacy protocols. The wallet transferred 3 million sUSDS to a new address, where the stablecoins were converted and deposited into Tornado Cash across 36 separate transactions totaling 1,389.6 ETH.
Monitoring service Salus tracked the movement, highlighting continued laundering efforts by entities associated with prior Coinbase user scams. The conversion of stablecoins to ETH before entering the mixer suggests an attempt to obscure the fund trail within Ethereum's ecosystem.
