Coinbase Markets announced that its stock and metal perpetual contracts have reached a cumulative trading volume of over $1.5 billion since their launch approximately two months ago. Unlike traditional markets, which are open about 30% of the week, Coinbase offers 24/7 trading for these contracts. The platform currently features over 20 perpetual contracts linked to real-world assets (RWA) and plans to introduce more. These products provide exposure to asset prices without actual ownership of the underlying assets.
