Coinbase has unveiled a suite of new financial products, including an AI-powered investment advisory tool and expanded derivatives offerings. The Coinbase Advisor, one of the first SEC-registered AI investment tools, will initially be available to Coinbase One subscribers in the U.S., providing portfolio recommendations and market analysis. In addition, Coinbase is broadening its derivatives business with perpetual futures linked to thematic baskets such as AI, defense, and Chinese equities, as well as pre-IPO futures for companies like SpaceX. The exchange is also enhancing its prediction markets, offering short-term crypto prediction contracts and bundled wagers. These developments align with CEO Brian Armstrong's vision of transforming Coinbase into a comprehensive financial platform.
