Coinbase has terminated acquisition talks with UK-based stablecoin infrastructure company BVNK, which were initially valued at approximately $2 billion. The companies had entered an exclusivity period in October to conduct due diligence, but ultimately decided not to proceed with the deal. The reason for the termination was not disclosed. BVNK specializes in providing stablecoin solutions for payments and cross-border transactions. Coinbase confirmed that after discussions, both parties mutually agreed to halt the acquisition process.
