CME Group has added Ethena’s ENA token to its single-asset cryptocurrency benchmark suite, introducing standardized USD reference rates for the London, New York, and Asia-Pacific trading sessions starting August 24. CF Benchmarks administers the product, including daily reference rates and real-time indices. The new benchmarks are ENAUSD RR (London close), ENAUSD NY (New York close), and ENAUSD AP (Asia-Pacific close), each published at 4 p.m. local time, including weekends and holidays. Pricing is based on aggregated trading activity across multiple compliant spot exchanges. The addition provides institutions with a reference for valuation, settlement, and risk management, but does not launch tradable products such as ENA futures or ETFs.
