Circle, the stablecoin issuer, has obtained a Financial Services License from the Abu Dhabi Global Markets Financial Services Regulatory Authority. This license allows Circle to operate as a money service provider within the Abu Dhabi International Financial Centre. Additionally, Circle has appointed Dr. Saeeda Jaffar as Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa. Jaffar, formerly with Visa, will spearhead Circle's regional strategy and enhance partnerships to promote the adoption of digital dollar and on-chain payment solutions across the UAE and broader Middle East and Africa regions.
