Circle has announced a partnership with Sasai Fintech, a subsidiary of Cassava Technologies, marking its first collaboration in Africa. This agreement allows Sasai users to utilize the USDC stablecoin for local and cross-border payments. Sasai's remittance application currently serves 30 markets across Africa. The partnership aims to reduce cross-border payment costs and promote financial inclusion in the region.
