Circle has announced the appointment of Kirk Koenigsbauer to its Board of Directors, where he will also serve on the Compensation and Risk Committees. Koenigsbauer is currently the President and COO of Microsoft's Experiences and Devices division, focusing on Microsoft 365 and Copilot. With over 30 years of experience in global enterprise software and cloud services, he has been instrumental in transitioning Office 365 to the cloud and establishing Microsoft's security business. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire highlighted Koenigsbauer's expertise in building mission-critical software platforms and global security operations as key assets for enhancing Circle's risk management, governance, and global enterprise capabilities.
