ChipForge has launched as the world's first decentralized chip design project, leveraging the Bittensor subnetwork SN84. The initiative utilizes RISC-V architecture to eliminate licensing costs, enabling global engineers to participate in chip design. ChipForge incentivizes top designs with tokens, rewarding performance, power efficiency, and area optimization. A functional RISC-V processor has already been developed, with future plans to create edge AI accelerators and utilize Google's OpenMPW for production.
