The technical paper, authored by Sun Shengbin of the Wenzhou Public Security Bureau and Lou Yandi of the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department, was released in the journal Forensic Science and Technology on June 4. It outlines systematic procedures for evidence collection, tracking, seizure, and freezing of cryptocurrencies, providing insight into how Chinese authorities manage digital asset investigations.
