Chinese authorities have successfully recovered 100,000 RMB in a USDT fraud case involving a victim named Mr. Liu. The incident, reported on February 9, involved Mr. Liu being scammed by a suspect named Shi, who posed as a seasoned crypto trader to deceive him into transferring the funds. Shi, lacking stable income and trading qualifications, used fabricated trading records to gain trust.
Following a swift investigation by the Baojing County Public Security Bureau, Shi was apprehended, and the full amount was recovered. The funds were returned to Mr. Liu on May 14. Shi is now facing legal proceedings on fraud charges, with the case still under investigation.
