The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China has announced plans to actively engage in global governance concerning the digital economy and artificial intelligence. During a recent theoretical study session, the ministry emphasized the importance of expanding high-level international cooperation and leveraging both domestic and international markets. The initiative aims to foster a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, encouraging foreign investment and participation in China's industrialization process. The ministry also highlighted the need for Chinese enterprises to diversify and internationalize their operations, particularly in collaboration with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. This strategy is intended to enhance industrial cooperation and complementarity. Additionally, the ministry plans to advance a new industrial revolution partnership network, focusing on building a secure and efficient global industrial and supply chain system.
