China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has emphasized the need for strengthened legislative research in emerging fields such as the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and the low-altitude economy. During a symposium in Beijing on July 20, MIIT officials highlighted the importance of enhancing network and data security systems to support new industrialization efforts. The meeting also addressed the need to improve industry governance and implement the "15th Five-Year" plan effectively. Key initiatives include accelerating the development of standards for critical industrial chains, addressing "involution-style" competition, and fostering a market-oriented, law-based, and international business environment.
