China's Securities Regulatory Commission and Ministry of Finance have proposed significant increases in rewards for whistleblowers in securities and futures violations. The revised guidelines suggest raising the bonus ratio from 1% to 3% of fines and confiscations. Additionally, the maximum reward for major violation clues will increase from 100,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan. For cases with significant national impact or involving large sums, the maximum reward will be standardized at 1 million yuan, up from the previous 300,000 or 600,000 yuan limits.
