China has officially launched the 'Sky Net 2026' campaign to intensify its anti-corruption efforts. The initiative, announced on April 2, involves multiple government bodies targeting cross-border corruption and asset recovery. The National Supervisory Commission will lead efforts to recover assets from overseas related to job-related crimes. The Ministry of Public Security will conduct the 'Fox Hunt' operation, focusing on capturing fugitives abroad. Additionally, the People's Bank of China, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security, will tackle the transfer of illicit funds through offshore companies and underground banks. The Central Organization Department, alongside the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration, will address issues related to officials holding foreign citizenship and unauthorized overseas travel by public servants.
