China’s A-share market closed broadly higher, with all three major indexes gaining more than 1% and the STAR 50 Index rising more than 3.5%. Combined turnover in Shanghai and Shenzhen reached 2.13 trillion yuan, up 317.2 billion yuan from the previous trading day, while more than 3,300 stocks advanced. Computing hardware-related names led the move. Memory chip stocks extended gains, with Delinli and Dapu Micro hitting limit-up, while PCB stocks strengthened intraday as Jinan Guoji, Xiehe Electronics, Hongchang Electronics and JLC hit limit-up. CPO and optical fiber names also advanced, with Simgui Electronics posting a 20% limit-up and Changfei Fiber Optic among the gainers. Gold and agriculture shares remained active, while power grid equipment stocks weakened, with Sieyuan Electric falling to limit-down. By the close, the Shanghai Composite rose 1.13%, the Shenzhen Component gained 1.5%, and the ChiNext Index added 1.71%.
