The People's Bank of China and the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The agreement, finalized on December 3, 2023, aims to bolster the development and interoperability of digital currencies between the two nations, reflecting a growing trend of international cooperation in the digital finance sector.
