Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has suggested that the traditional "four-year cycle" of Bitcoin may be outdated, as the cryptocurrency market could be entering a "supercycle." Speaking at the Bitcoin Middle East Conference in Abu Dhabi, Zhao highlighted the increasing influence of institutional participation, which could overshadow the typical price cycles associated with Bitcoin's halving events. Zhao also noted the potential for discussions around national-level Bitcoin reserves to gain traction. He speculated that if the US begins considering Bitcoin as part of its strategic reserves, other countries might follow suit, further influencing the market dynamics.
