The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Innovation Working Group has launched the "Frontier Forum Series," a new public seminar initiative designed to foster dialogue between regulators, industry participants, and the public on emerging financial technologies. The inaugural forum is scheduled for October 28 and will focus specifically on artificial intelligence and agentic finance, aiming to balance technological innovation with investor protection and market integrity. CFTC Chairman Michael Selig stated that the commission intends to engage directly with the builders, users, and researchers developing these technologies. The public is invited to nominate speakers for the event, though in-person attendance may be limited and subject to security screening.
