Cardano's total value locked (TVL) has reached its highest level in over a year, according to data from DeFiLlama, marking a significant milestone for the blockchain. On April 1, Cardano's TVL hit 559.4 million ADA, surpassing the previous high of 545 million ADA recorded on January 30, 2025. This represents a 41.7% increase from the September 2025 low of 380 million ADA, despite the dollar valuation dropping to $133.8 million due to a decline in ADA's price.
Everstake, a prominent non-custodial staking infrastructure provider, praised this growth as a sign of Cardano's increasing activity and health. The firm highlighted the expansion of DeFi activities on the network, supported by efforts from the Cardano Foundation and collaborations such as the integration of Circle's USDCx stablecoin. Everstake and Cardano's founder, Charles Hoskinson, anticipate further growth, with projections suggesting Cardano's TVL could reach $15 billion.
