Cardano's web3 wallet, Lace, has launched its 2.0 update, integrating Cardano, Midnight, and Bitcoin into a single platform. The update, Lace 2.0.3, addresses issues such as a blank screen preventing DApp connections and migration, and improves the DApp connector's stability. Additionally, Lace 2.0.4 introduces a default view mode and an auto-lock timer to enhance user experience. In parallel, Cardano is preparing for the Van Rossem hard fork, set for late June 2026. This upgrade to protocol version 11 aims to improve Plutus performance, ledger consistency, and node security. The Cardano Node version 11.0.1 pre-release has been issued to ensure a smooth transition, with ongoing work on the Leios prototype as part of Treasury Funding Program 4.
