Cambodian businessman Chen Zhi, chairman of the Prince Group, has been indicted by U.S. authorities for his alleged role in a $1.8 billion Bitcoin scam. The scheme, described as one of the largest 'pig butchering' frauds, involved wire fraud, money laundering, and the operation of forced labor compounds. In a significant crackdown, over 127,000 BTC, valued at more than $14 billion, has been seized. This case underscores the vulnerabilities within cryptocurrency networks and has led to increased global law enforcement collaboration to improve security measures and trace stolen assets.
