BTQ Technologies Corp. has announced significant advancements in its quantum security initiatives, focusing on three main areas. The company completed a proof-of-concept deployment of its Quantum Secure Systems and Networks (QSSN) in South Korea, in partnership with Danal and Finger Inc. Group, aimed at quantum-secure stablecoin settlement and issuer control. This initiative has been recognized by the U.S. post-quantum financial infrastructure framework and QuINSA as a global standard.
Additionally, BTQ launched a quantum-secure Bitcoin demonstration using NIST-standardized cryptography and a quantum proof-of-work simulator. In the hardware sector, BTQ signed a $15 million joint development agreement with ICTK for secure elements and acquired QPerfect to enhance its neutral atom platform. The company reported holding CAD 39.4 million in cash at the end of the quarter.
