A vulnerability in the Binance Smart Chain's MT token buy restriction mechanism has been exploited, allowing hackers to gain approximately $242,000. BlockSec Phalcon monitoring identified a suspicious transaction involving the MT-WBNB trading pool, revealing that attackers bypassed buyer restrictions by leveraging a flaw in the deflationary mode. The exploit involved whitelisted router and trading pair addresses, enabling the attackers to exchange and remove liquidity, manipulate token prices, and profit from the inflated value. Additionally, a referral rule permitting the transfer of the first 0.2 MT facilitated the attack.
