Brevis has launched Pico Prism 2.0, a significant upgrade to its Ethereum real-time block proof system, now operational on the Ethereum mainnet. The new system, which operates with a 60 million gas limit, generates proofs for an average block in approximately 6.1 seconds, with 99.9% of blocks confirmed within the 12-second block interval. This upgrade enhances computational efficiency by 5.3 times compared to its predecessor, Pico Prism 1.0.
The system utilizes a dual-machine setup with 16 RTX 5090 GPUs, maintaining hardware costs around $100,000. This development aligns with the Ethereum Foundation's performance targets, marking a milestone in the practical application of real-time ZK proofs on Ethereum. Brevis's participation in the Ethereum Foundation's "On-Prem Proving Initiative" underscores its role in advancing decentralized infrastructure scalability.
