Brazilian stock exchange B3 has postponed the launch of its tokenized assets platform to the first half of 2027, pushing back from the previously scheduled second half of 2026. Initially, tokenized stocks will share order books, pricing, and liquidity with traditional equities while maintaining T+2 settlement cycles.
24/7 trading and instant settlement features remain contingent on regulatory approval. B3 also plans to issue a stablecoin and will apply to the Central Bank of Brazil for licenses covering digital asset operations and custody services.
