French banking giant BPCE has introduced cryptocurrency trading services for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and USD Coin (USDC) to its two million retail clients. The service is accessible via the Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Épargne mobile apps, with users incurring a monthly fee of 2.99 euros and a 1.5% commission per trade. Initially available in four regional banks, the service is set to expand to 25 more by 2026, reflecting BPCE's response to increasing competition and regulatory clarity in Europe under the MiCA framework.
