A recent algorithm tweak has significantly advanced BOINC's search for amicable numbers within the 2^64 space. The individual responsible for this enhancement has successfully identified all amicable numbers up to 10^21. At the time of the algorithm's release, only 500,000 numbers remained to be found in the range between 10^18 and 10^21, with numbers up to 10^18 already known.
