BNB Chain has announced the development of a new Layer 1 blockchain tailored for agent trading, with a mainnet launch targeted for early 2027. The blockchain aims to achieve transaction pre-confirmation in under 50 milliseconds and mitigate MEV behaviors like sandwich attacks by eliminating the public mempool through the TxStream mechanism.
The new chain will feature PriorityLane to reserve block space for oracles, liquidations, and cross-chain bridges, aiming for a throughput exceeding 100,000 TPS and sub-second block finality. It will be the fourth chain in the BNB Chain ecosystem, linked to the BNB Smart Chain via a native bridge, with BSC as the settlement hub. A testnet is expected by the end of 2026.
