The Bitcoin Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG) will auction an original copy of The Times newspaper from January 3, 2009, at the Bitcoin 2026 Summit in Las Vegas. This newspaper, whose headline was embedded by Satoshi Nakamoto into Bitcoin's genesis block, is one of the rarest physical assets in Bitcoin's history. The auction will take place at The Venetian Resort from April 27 to 29.
The Bitcoin 2026 Summit, organized by BTC Inc., will feature a 6,000-square-foot gallery with curated exhibitions, live performances, and panel discussions. Highlights include the "Relics of a Revolution" exhibit, showcasing protest artifacts, and the "Rare Pepes Did It First" exhibit, celebrating the origins of crypto-native art. The event aims to attract over 30,000 attendees, making it the largest in the series to date.
