This update allows users to pay Lightning invoices directly from their Liquid bitcoin (LBTC) balances, streamlining the process by removing the need for managing Lightning channels or inbound liquidity. The integration leverages Lightning's fast, low-fee transactions and Liquid's confidential transaction capabilities, ensuring a self-custodial swap process secured by cryptographic hash locks. Future updates will include on-chain swaps and hardware wallet support for Lightning payments.
