Blockstream Capital Partners (BCP) has announced its acquisition of Corbiere Capital Management, a Jersey-based equities hedge fund. Founded in 2023 by Rodrigo Rodriguez, Corbiere Capital will enhance BCP's offerings by incorporating equity and event-driven strategies alongside its existing bitcoin-linked products. This strategic move aims to attract institutional investors. Rodrigo Rodriguez will assume the role of Chief Investment Officer at Blockstream Capital Management, a newly formed entity under BCP. Additionally, Komainu, a digital asset custodian and partner of the KuCoin exchange, will provide custody services through its Komainu Connect platform. The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
