Blockchain-based ride-hailing service TADA plans to enter the New York market in June 2026, positioning itself as a competitor to major players like Uber and Lyft. TADA utilizes blockchain smart contracts to directly connect drivers and passengers, aiming to reduce platform fees and enhance driver income and transparency through decentralization. Currently operating in Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Hong Kong, TADA is also running a pilot in Denver. Co-founder Kay Woo stated that TADA aims to offer a "genuine alternative" in markets with high commission rates.
