BLIFE Protocol has merged with Portal, a Web3 game interoperability project, to strengthen cross-chain gaming infrastructure. The combined entity will operate under the Portal brand, integrating BLIFE's Bitcoin-based tools with Portal's cross-chain capabilities. Benjamin Charbit, former Ubisoft game director, will lead the new venture.
The merger is supported by Animoca Brands, which provides funding and game assets, and G-20, which joins as a partner. BLIFE has previously expanded its ecosystem through initiatives like BLIFE.ID and Odin.fun, and the acquisition of the Beyond cross-chain bridge, which will be launched on the mainnet and integrated into Portal's infrastructure.
