BlackRock's Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETHA) has reached $10 billion in assets under management, marking the third-fastest ETF to achieve this milestone. The fund accomplished this in just 251 days since its launch, joining BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) and Fidelity's spot Bitcoin ETF (FBTC) in rapid growth. ETHA's assets surged from $5 billion to $10 billion in just 10 days, a feat described by Bloomberg's Eric Balchunas as a 'God candle' in ETF inflow terms. This underscores the increasing interest in spot crypto-based ETFs, which are outpacing traditional finance products.
