BlackRock has launched the iShares Space Technologies UCITS ETF, aimed at European investors, under the ticker STAR. This space-themed ETF features a unique mechanism that allows newly listed companies to be included in the index within 10 to 30 days post-IPO. This is achieved through an ad-hoc rebalancing review, bypassing the need to wait for the next scheduled rebalancing, thus offering investors quicker access to emerging space technology stocks.
