Jeff Park, an advisor at Bitwise, has highlighted concerns over Bitcoin's current market structure, describing it as unfavorable for significant price increases. Park noted that while original Bitcoin holders are selling, demand from ETFs and DAT is waning. He emphasized the need for a return to higher implied volatility, particularly upward, for Bitcoin to break its current pattern. Despite a brief rise in volatility in November, it has since dropped from 63% to 44% over the past two weeks, indicating suppressed market conditions.
