Bitwise has announced the inclusion of Hyperliquid token (HYPE) in its Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF (BITW), with a current weight of approximately 0.95%. Hyperliquid achieved a trading volume of about $1.34 trillion and revenue of $320 million in the first half of 2026. The HYPE token has surged approximately 165% year-to-date, making it the ninth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. Bitwise cautions that BITW is not registered under the U.S. Investment Company Act of 1940, highlighting the fund's high volatility and the potential for investors to lose their entire principal. The holdings in BITW do not equate to direct ownership of the underlying crypto assets.
