Bittensor, a decentralized network focused on artificial intelligence, is set to experience its first token halving event on December 14. The daily issuance of its TAO tokens will be reduced from 7,200 to 3,600, following a distribution model similar to Bitcoin, with a total supply cap of 21 million tokens. Analysts from Grayscale have noted that this event signifies a maturation phase for the network. Bittensor currently operates over 100 subnets, including Chutes, which provides AI serverless computing, and Ridges, which focuses on AI agent crowdsourced development.
