BitMine added 53,501 ETH last week, extending its streak of weekly Ethereum purchases to 65 consecutive weeks. As of August 30, the company held 5,901,112 ETH, equal to about 4.9% of total ETH supply.
The company said its cryptocurrency, cash, and other investment assets total about $15.6 billion. That includes $541 million in cash and marketable securities, 211 Bitcoin, about $180 million in Beast Industries equity, and roughly $81 million invested in Eightco Holdings (ORBS).
BitMine said 5,067,309 ETH is currently staked, representing about 86% of its total ETH holdings. Based on the current annualized yield, staking income is estimated at about $335 million per year.
