BitMine has acquired an additional 60,976 ETH, increasing its total Ethereum holdings to 4,534,563 ETH, which represents 3.76% of the total Ethereum supply. This acquisition is part of BitMine's strategy to increase its Ethereum holdings, as the company remains bullish on the cryptocurrency's recovery. BitMine's chairman, Tom Lee, expressed confidence that the crypto market is nearing a bottom, with Ethereum showing resilience in recent weeks. The company, which holds over $10 billion in assets, has staked over 3.04 million ETH, generating annualized revenue of approximately $174 million. BitMine's aggressive accumulation strategy comes amid criticism from short seller Culper Research, which argues that recent Ethereum upgrades have negatively impacted tokenomics and staking yields. Despite this, BitMine continues to expand its Ethereum holdings, positioning itself as a major player in the crypto treasury space.
